The Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route New Jersey Association, W3R-NJ, is a New Jersey State, non-profit, organization formed to support the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route, National Heritage Trail through New Jersey.

Legislative Actions

On November 29, 1999, Congress directed the Secretary of the Interior to undertake a Special Resource Study of the Crossroads of the American Revolution in central New Jersey as specified in the fiscal year 2000 appropriations bill (P.L. 106-113). 

New Jersey's Executive Order 116, signed on July 3, 2000, established the 225th Anniversary of the American Revolution Celebration Commission in New Jersey for the purpose of promoting and coordinating commemorative programming and activities in New Jersey.

The Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route National Heritage Trial Act of 2000 (P.L. 106-473) directed the Secretary of the Interior to undertake a study of the Washington-Rochambeau 1781 march from Newport, Rhode Island to York Town, Virginia.
